Superman

 I learned about this story from The Hollywood Reporter : a Black Superman story is coming soon! 

  Ta - Nehisi Coates is expected to write the new Superman movie for Warner Brothers.  J.J. Abrams is producing (and probably directing) the feature film.

  I don't like how Americans always bring up race. We say stuff like "first black president" or "first black bachelor" (referring to that popular TV show) ... but pretty soon we will have the "first black Superman." I still remember when they announced the "first black Spider-Man" in the comics. It was a big deal. People really embraced the idea and sales of that particular comic book went through the roof. 

Potato Head

 Hasbro is rebranding at least one of their toys. They are dropping the "Mr." from Mr. Potato Head. The brand name and the family sets will be gender neutral to promote more inclusivity. 

  Hasbro launched Mr. Potato Head in 1952. Back then it was just plastic pieces in a box (hands, feet, eyes, a pipe and a mustache) and families had to supply their own potatoes.
