Woe Is Me

Every time I see someone trying to better themselves, I also see a lot of obstacles get in the way. I think that is spiritual warfare to the highest degree. God wants us to prosper, while the devil wants to seek and destroy.

I think my unemployment benefits will be running out on Tuesday. (I am not sure if I can get an extension or not) I am hoping that I get an extra $1,000 from financial aid to help me pay my rent on July 1st. Well, today this thought crossed my mind: what if not enough people sign up for the same class I did? The college will cancel the class. Then I end up only taking one class this semester instead of the two I planned on taking. Then my financial aid will drop tremendously! If that class gets canceled, then I know I will not have an extra fin. aid money. I hope I can find a job and receive a paycheck before July 1st! Most companies like to hold a week back so if they pay every two weeks, then I will not see a check until the 3rd or 4th week. I am praying for a miracle!

PS- I find out tomorrow if the class is canceled or not. I find out Thursday if I will continue getting unemployment benefits.

UPDATE 7/18/10: My unemployment benefits ran out. I ended up getting some fin. aid. I got my rent paid for July. I am currently looking for a job. I ended up taking one class during the summer semester. I am hoping to continue my education when the fall semester starts.
