My Legacy

I imagine my children being teenagers and this blog is still accessible to them. What do I want them to know about me? First of all, I want them to know that I am a helper. I like to help people. Majority of my jobs have been customer service related. I like to think that I am real good at it. The key is to treat others how you like to be treated, go the extra mile for them and if there is a problem or a complaint, then get it solved as soon as possible. If you are unable to rectify the situation, then find someone who can assist them in a timely manner.

Another thing that I want them to know about me is the fact that I don't really care about material things. I am not that big into clothes. I would own one shirt, one pair of pants,one pair of shorts, one pair of underwear and one pair of shoes if society would let me. (Most people do not realize that you can wash your clothes every day and just because I wore the same thing as yesterday, does not mean I am dirty or my clothes are dirty.)

All I really need is a dependable car, a dependable computer and maybe a cell phone for emergencies. My passion in life is to travel. I want to travel to all 50 states before I die. I don't really care to go over seas. Across the water, the only thing I would like to see is Hawaii.

I want my future teenagers to know that I am funny. You might not sense it in this blog, but several people have told me that I am funny.

I want my future teenagers to know I am smart. I am a seeker of knowledge, but I don't know everything. I love non-fiction books. I love magazines. I love the glossy paper they use.

ok...just a few more things real quick: I love football. I like problem solving. I like exploring. I like trying new things. I like donating to charities. I believe in God. I believe in the Holy Trinity. I love my family. (I would choose family over work any day.) I am honest. I am a man of my word. (let your yes be yes and your no be no. Do not sway back and forth.) I am very punctual. I hate when people are habitually late. I hate two-faced people. I hate gossip. I like to drink alcohol every once in awhile. I have never smoked anything in my life. I am a little bit of a thrill seeker. (I would love to go skydiving one of these days.) and....well, that is all for now....see you next time!
