Ryan Seacrest

I usually don't get goo goo gaa gaa over celebrities. If I saw one in public, I probably would not even get their autograph or take a picture with them. The only autographs I seek or the ones that go along with my football trading cards. And that's because the autograph increases value of the card. I would love to have Jerry Rice autograph something. I would not sell that one! I would pass that on to my kid when he turns 18 years old.

What does get my hyped up though is when I find a marketing tool that works. Anything to get views on my web site. I get just as happy over views as I do sales. With that in mind, please visit my facebook page: www.facebook.com/waco254

Back to the celebrity thing...and the marketing thing. I use www.Pinterest.com to drive traffic to my site. Today, out of no where, Ryan Seacrest liked one of my pins. AND it just happen to be one of the items I have for sale, not just some random picture I pulled off of the internet. This really made my day! I went goo goo gaa gaa for about 30 minutes...LOL

You know how many views I can get just from him liking my pin? Sales is a numbers game. If you have 100 people visit your store or your web site and 50 people buy something, your sales conversion rate is 50%. So with those numbers in mind, you have to assume that if you get 1,000 people in your store, then 500 people will buy something. Most people are not that lucky. I am not for example. I don't get that many views or sales right now. I am new to this ecommerce stuff. Maybe this Ryan Seacrest thing will help me out.

Even if my sales are not where I want them to be, at least I am getting views. I am very grateful for every view I get. Whether it be from Ryan Seacrest, John Doe or Plain Jane. Thank you for taking time out of your life to view my web site, my items for sale, and especially for reading this blog! I am very grateful for all of you!

  1. No, I did not mean to call you John Doe or Plain Jane. That's just the names that jumped in my thoughts. Don't take it personally.
